Watch the feed.

01 The role

You never set foot inside. You are the voice they trust.

You are a remote operator. Somewhere out there, past a name and a network connection, sits Blackwood Station, an undisclosed facility you will never see in daylight. Your console gives you five camera feeds and a single line of contact.

On the other end is Elliot, the station's systems and maintenance technician, alone on site for a ten-night rotation. He is funny, a little nervous, and very real. Your job is simple: keep the feeds live, keep him company, and keep him safe until the shift is over.

Simple, until the facility stops behaving like a building and starts behaving like it knows you're watching.

02 The conversation

You never meet him. You just can't put the phone down.

The whole game happens in a chat window. Elliot cracks jokes, second-guesses himself, rushes a message and fixes the typo a second later. It reads exactly like texting a real colleague through a long, boring night.

So when the replies slow down, when “Delivered” never turns into anything, when the typing dots start and stop and start again, you feel it before you can explain why.

03 The monitoring wall

Five feeds. One facility.

Reception, west corridor, loading bay, generator room, lower stairwell. Numbered one to five, because names were considered too exciting. Watch them long enough and you'll notice when something is wrong before Elliot does.

Five ordinary rooms. One long night. The feeds are the only way you'll know when something is wrong. And the only way you'll know Elliot's alright.

04 The console

It isn't a game of buttons. It's a night shift you have to survive.

Every part of the interface behaves like the real thing, right up to the moment it doesn't.

Messages that feel real

Typing dots. Delivered receipts. The red Not Delivered when the line drops mid-sentence. Elliot fumbles his spelling and corrects it. You are texting a person, and you'll feel it when you can't reach him.

Live, watching feeds

The cameras aren't wallpaper. Motion flags. Timecodes tick. A door that was shut is open the next time you look. Learn to trust the wall, then learn when you can't.

A voice on the line

Days in, the console rings. It stays full-screen until you pick up. It's the first time you hear the person you've been keeping alive on a screen. It doesn't go how you hope.

Files & evidence

Incident reports, old checklists, personnel records, photographs Elliot takes for you. Some files ask for a decision, APPROVE or DECLINE, right there on the page. Read carefully.

The facility map

A full plan of Blackwood Station that opens on Elliot's live position, and leaves a last-seen pin exactly where he was standing the moment the link went dark.

It doesn't stop when you leave

Close the app and the shift keeps running. Messages arrive as real notifications: overnight, while you're away, when you least want your phone to buzz. Someone is still down there.

05 It texts you

Put the phone down. He'll text you anyway.

CAMERA 06 runs in real time. When Elliot says he'll be a few minutes, he's gone for a few real minutes. Close the app and the shift carries on without you: his messages land on your lock screen like any other text.

Breaks last real minutes or hours. When a shift ends, the next one opens the following day. You can answer straight away, or leave him waiting. He'll notice either way.

  • 01 Waits run in real minutes and hours
  • 02 Messages arrive as notifications
  • 03 One shift a day, ten in all
  • 04 Scheduled on your phone, no servers

BW After dark

Nothing jumps out at you. That's what makes it worse.

Blackwood Station is cold, empty and perfectly ordinary. Until, quietly, it isn't. No monsters in the vents. No screams. Just a slow, patient wrongness you notice long before you can prove it, and a colleague on the end of the line you're not ready to lose.

Trust the feeds. Trust Elliot. Then work out, night by night, how far either of those will get you.

06 The place

Blackwood Station

One reception desk. A west corridor lined with storerooms. A generator room, a loading bay, a stairwell that goes down further than it should. Five cameras cover all of it.

You will come to know this building the way you know a house in the dark: by the sound of it, by which doors stick, by where Elliot is when he stops answering.

07 The rotation

Ten nights. One long descent.

A slow-burn story told in real time, one shift at a time. No jump scares to hide behind. Just a growing certainty that something is very wrong, and a person you've come to care about standing in the middle of it.

  1. 01

    The rotation begins

Five feeds, a voice on the line, and the long boredom of a night shift. Elliot's easy to talk to. You settle in.

  2. The nights draw in

The routine stops feeling routine. Small things stop adding up. You start watching the feeds a little differently.

  3. No going back

What you notice, you can't un-notice. Keeping Elliot company stops feeling like the easy part of the shift.

  4. 10

    The last night

Everything you've done comes due at once, and how the night ends is on you. Whatever you choose, you don't get to un-know it.

Questions

What can I play it on?

iPhone, running iOS 17 or later. An Android version for Google Play is on the way, and its details will be posted here first.

How long does it take?

Ten in-game days, played in real time. Elliot's breaks last real minutes or hours, and each new day opens the following day, so a full rotation runs across ten or more days of your own. Play a shift whenever it suits you.

Do I need to keep the app open?

No. Close it and the shift carries on. When Elliot messages, it arrives as a notification, just like a text, and everything he sent is waiting in the chat when you come back.

Rather not be buzzed? Switch off Away alerts in the game's Settings.

Does it need the internet or an account?

Neither. CAMERA 06 plays entirely offline, with no account, no ads and no tracking. Notifications are scheduled on your phone by the game itself. The privacy policy has the details.

How scary is it?

It's psychological horror: slow-burn tension, isolation and unease rather than gore. There are a few frights and some dark themes, so it isn't one for younger players. The age rating is still to be confirmed.

When is it out, and how much will it cost?

Release date and price: TBA. Both will be announced on this site first.
